I would like to introduce Doze, A Rethink On Routine for better sleep.
40% of autistic people in our community suffer from the common trait of sleep difficulty. As many of us
know, good quality sleep is essential for our health and well-being.

Doze is a lighting system, designed to improve sleep and visually notify autistic individuals to get ready for bed. The design is based on the science of red light exposure, to communicate a calming, low-sensory environment for winding down and falling asleep. Through displaying tasks to complete before going to bed, the user is guided into learning a routine that becomes a positive part of their home life.

By using routine forming, the individual can feel safer and more secure, giving a sense of predictability and ease to the mind. And a feeling of ownership over their routine. There are just a few things we have made to go alongside our main devices; the App and Doze Hub light, and Doze Tile Lights.

Packaging Design
The packaging is designed as a starter kit with accessibility adaptations. Everything you need to start setting up and begin learning to live with the Doze system is inside. The box's interior is visually organized and grouped to show a sense of clarity to the users. The box personally greets each user and identifies each piece of the system with a peelable sticker. There is also an instructional card directing users to install an app and a QR code for an instruction video to explain the installation process visually.
Installing Product
The flyer included in the packaging encourages users to install the app, along with this, a QR code directs users to an instructional video to further help those that need extra clarification and guidance.
Instagram & Facebook
As part of our social media campaign we would use instagram to promote our brand as this is aimed at a younger audience. It offers promotional information and visual content, along with the ability to share content with others around the country. Facebook would also be another plateform we would use as this targets an older audeince, including parents and whānau of the autistic person.
